Ellise Shafer

Ellise Shafer is Variety's Deputy Editor of International. She writes breaking news, in addition to music and entertainment features. Ellise was previously an associate news editor and editorial intern at Variety's Los Angeles office. Prior to her time at Variety, she worked as a digital intern at Billboard and graduated from Northwestern University in 2020 with a B.S. in Journalism.
